Hoagy's Heroes Rules...


Every participant (rider and passenger) agrees to hold the organizers of Hoagy's Heroes events harmless.

Every participant (rider and passenger) must sign a voluntary waiver form prior to participating in any ride.

All riders must provide proof of a valid state-issued driver's license and motorcycle endorsement when signing the waiver form prior to the start of an event and when signing the "Start of the Ride Witness Form".

All passengers must provide a valid state-issued driver's license or state-issued photo identification card when signing the waiver form prior to the start of an event and when signing the "Start of the Ride Witness Form".

No one under the age of 18 may participate in a ride unless they are a passenger on a motorcycle which is operated by their parent or legal guardian. The minor passenger's parent or guardian must sign a waiver form on behalf of the minor passenger prior to the start of an event.

Every rider must be legally licensed to operate a motorcycle within each of the states traveled in a ride.

Each participant (rider and passenger) must comply with all applicable helmet laws.

Every rider must maintain the minimally required insurance coverage to operate their motorcycle within each of the states traveled in a ride.

All participants (riders and passengers) are forbidden to consume alcohol and or use any illegal substances just prior to and or during any event.

For participants taking prescribed medications or over-the-counter medications, please review these medications for potential side affects prior to participating in any event.

It is the participant’s responsibility to bring any special needs and or requirements to the Hoagy's Heroes Staff. Not every need and or requirement can be met. If we don’t know, we can not try to help!

For riders participating in IBA certification, all IBA rules must be adhered to, including providing gas receipts at designated points on the routes. All designated points will be posted on the routes page per IBA notification.
